# Fee

Leverage trading involves three kinds of charges:

| Fee | When it applies | How much |
| --------------------------------------------------------------------- | ------------------------------------ | ------------------------------------------------- |
| [Brokerage + platform service fee](/ss/concepts/spot/fee.md) | On every buy and sell | Same as [spot trading ](/ss/concepts/spot/fee.md) |
| [Financing interest](/ss/concepts/leverage/interest-and-repayment.md) | Every 4 hours while the loan is open | Set per stock; shown live in the app |
| [Liquidation fee](/ss/concepts/leverage/managing-your-risk.md) | Only on a forced liquidation | 1 % of the sale value, deducted from the proceeds |

The brokerage and platform service fees are exactly the same as for spot trading — they are not extra charges added by leverage. The only costs unique to leverage are the **financing interest** on the borrowed funds and, if a position is force-closed, the **1% liquidation fee**. See Interest and repayment for how interest is calculated and Managing your risk for how liquidation works.

All fees are settled in USDT or USDC.
