# Spot

StableStock lets you buy and sell real stocks directly using USDT or USDC.

### Trade Global Stocks with Stablecoins

StableStock provides access to stocks and ETFs across multiple global markets, including:

* U.S. stocks and ETFs
* Hong Kong stocks and ETFs
* Korean stocks and ETFs

When you place a buy order, your stablecoins are used to purchase the underlying shares through our brokerage infrastructure. The shares are held in custody and credited to your StableStock account.

When you sell, the underlying shares are sold through the same infrastructure, and the proceeds are returned to your available balance in USDT or USDC.

Unlike synthetic assets that only track a stock's price, Spot positions on StableStock correspond to real underlying shares.

### Expanding Market Access

StableStock is progressively adding support for more global stock markets and securities.

The available stocks, ETFs, and supported markets may expand over time as new markets are integrated.

### Tokenize Your Shares

Eligible shares held on StableStock can optionally be tokenized into sTokens.

For example:

AAPL → sAAPL

sTokens bring eligible stock positions onchain, allowing them to interact with supported blockchain applications and infrastructure.
